i was incredibly humbled to be asked to be part of samantha wills' first ever blogger edit, a self styling competition for ten bloggers. we were given pieces from samantha's new collection to style and shoot any way we wished, and true to my usual style, i found a way to toughen up the femininity of the jewellery. what i like about samantha's designs are that they are not typical pieces, but are inspired by certain eras and often have an ancient, precious feel about them, making them super adapable to any style.

I think pretty jewelry looks even better roughed up. It just brings out it's prettiness even more and it looks so much more interesting instead of hanging against layers of fluffy pink lace. This way it doesn't get lost in the cutesyness- superb photos!
