don't even get me started on how much i love road trips, particularly unplanned ones. five hours (and a lot of coffee) later, we're at the south coast getting it on with the beach-y goodness. as usual, completely inappropriately dressed for the surroundings not to mention for the mini-hike that ensued just as the sun was going down. i do have to admit..as much as i love my home country, australia depresses me with all its harsh brown landscape. however this trip reminded me that it really is beautiful here.

It is true that Australia is very yellow and brown. I haven't really been to the green bits (read: Queensland) but am hoping to do so. It always shocks me when I go back to Europe how insanely green everything is. Like, the actual intensity of the color. We got green shrubs and trees and eh, sun scorched grass... but the greens in Europe! Love the photos, how can you not love roadtrips and wanderlusting excursions?
