it has to be said that right after these were taken i promptly spilled coffee all over my dress, which happens to be floaty lover dress #739. i'm starting to think it's some sort of disappointing tradition that each white dress i own must, at some point, be doused in a dark coloured beverage as a kind of wardrobe christening. that, or i'm really just a slob and can't admit it. i should really try get some better shots of the dress, it's basically a sheer little flimsy thing with a ruffled collar from lover's 'white serpent' collection. how so many of their pieces can be so perfect is beyond me.

I did this once and promptly swore off white dresses. I admire that you pick yourself up, wash the dress and keep persevering.

Oh god, I have the same awful habit! Coffee, sangria, chocolate, you name it - and it ends up on anything white that I wear. Thank god for napisan and dry-cleaning! I hope they saved your dress, everything Lover is beyond amazing xx
