theory 'theda' sweater, strummer leather dress (similar here and here), alexander wang 'liya' pumps
i was seriously overjoyed when i picked up this strummer leather dress at a consignment store in perth, i've seen a lot of leather dresses out there but none have ever had the slighly loose, a-line fit i was looking for. i knew the moment i took it off the rack that it was coming home with me. it's a lot less risque with a sweater thrown on top; it's funny how something can go from preppy to borderline slutty so easily. i took the theory knit off for the last couple of shots and like the careless slob i am, threw it off to the side only to have it nearly run over by a passing car. i swear, i usually baby my clothes to the point where it's weird.

Gah, so so weird. I just bought a leather shift from ebay that is so similar to yours, but a little more straight cut. You're right, leather shifts are so hard to find full stop, not to mention a particular cut!
I find opaques seriously good at de-skank-ifying mine :P and must try a chunky knit a la you!

Ha I was actually laughing out loud about the "babying" you're clothes bit - I tend to do that too. My daughter fell on the grass while holding a cardigan of mine...and I picked the cardi up and checked that first before turning to her. Oops! Freaking love that leather dress xx
