it must sometimes seem that my entire wardrobe consists of lover, with a few other random pieces thrown in. i swear that's not the case, although i admit it is the most common label hanging on my racks. i'm one of those people that stick to a good thing when they've found it, and lover manages to embody my edgy-feminine thing with ease. this hooded coat is from quite a few collections back now but i ruthlessly hunted one down and may have done a victorious dance around my workplace when it was delivered. it's one of those coats that basically works with every flimsy little dress i own. speaking of which, i wear this slip dress to death and so i've been searching for the perfect white equivalent for more than a year now...who knew it would be so hard? this one is pretty cool, and i'm so into this phillip lim version...although a vintage one would be ideal. i really don't think i'll be growing out of my underwear as outerwear phase any time soon...oh dear.
