l'america dress, alexander wang 'liya' pumps and clutch (similar here)



while randomly browsing in david jones the other day, looking for the perfect battered looking tee and rifling through the ksubi rack, a flash of red and blue caught my eye. turns out this l'america dress was on the wrong rack but i'm glad it was. it was one of those moments where my initial reaction was something similar to 'uhh...no.' but the longer i stood there looking at it the harder it was to pull myself away. a few days later i was still thinking about it and just had to go back. my friend (and blog photographer) literally thought i was joking when i said i was going to buy it...and here i thought guys liked the cute tomboy look. turns out the creative director of l'america is kym ellery which made me more happy than is probably normal. if i'm going to have just one foray into sports luxe, make it this one..!
